Solanco Athletic Director Anthony Hall and the Solanco Hall of Fame committee have  announced that the induction of this year’s hall of fame athletes has been postponed until next year. The athletes have not been made aware of their selection to the hall of fame, and Hall said they will not be contacted until next year.

Fire companies respond to minor incident at Quarryville Elementary

Fire crews were called to Quarryville Elementary School this afternoon (Tuesday) for what turned out to be a minor incident. A belt on a fan overheated, and local firefighters ventilated the building. The incident occurred after dismissal; there were no students in the school at the time.
